Sunday Services at Penshurst Anglican Church:

08:00am - Prayer Book Service with Holy Communion.
10:30am - Service in English & Mandarin with fortnightly Holy Communion
6:00pm - Service in English & Mandarin with Holy Communion.

Services are held weekly for members and visitors of all backgrounds to meet together in bi-lingual worship of our Lord Jesus. Bi-lingual songs and hymns of worship are sung. We pray together. Every other week, we share in Holy Communion. Halfway through our service, we divide into language-specific groups (English or Mandarin) where the Bible is read and explained in that language.This service is preceded by a morning tea. A hot lunch is always served after the service.

A new bi-lingual evening service will begin on February 14th 2106!

For various reasons, some people cannot make it to our morning services. We have decided to experiment with a new (1 hour) bi-lingual service on Sunday evening (6pm), followed by refreshments or a meal.

Visitors

As a visitor to a celebration service, you will be seeing a meeting which is designed to encourage and challange Christians. It is a chance to see that we are everyday people too, and that we believe that by Christ's death and resurrection we enter into an eternal and personal relationship with our Creator. Our Lord seeks to bless people abundantly - that they might experience life to the full. Our desire as a believing body (church) is to see people live that relationship to it's fullest.
